Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel will be taking part in tomorrow Read Across America Events tomorrow (March 2^nd).

The first event is at the Centre.  Evansville is one of three stops nationwide for the National Education Association’s (NEA) “Cat-a-Van” tour.  It is designed to motivate children to read by making it fun.   The event also coincides with the birthday of Dr. Seuss, thus the Cat in the Hat theme.

 The second event is at Delaware Elementary School, 700 N. Garvin, where the Mayor will be reading to students at 10:45 a.m.
