Forest Ranger Injured in Western Kentucky Wildfire

LIVINGSTON CO., KY - Kentucky officials said Don Lam, a Forest Ranger Technician for the state, was injured Tuesday morning while fighting a 12-acre wildfire in Livingston County.  They said he was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville after a burning log fell on him.

INDOT to Celebrate End of Fulton & Lloyd Project

EVANSVILLE - The Indiana Department of Transportation said it would celebrate the opening of the new Fulton Avenue & Lloyd Expressway interchange with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The $32.5 million project began in May 2008 to improve traffic flow near downtown.

Traffic Alert: Lane Restriction on Southbound US 41 Twin Bridge

HENDERSON, KY - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said it would be closing down one lane of the southbound US 41 Twin Bridge around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. They said the lane would remain closed until about noon.

Redevelopment Commission to Discuss Future Hotel Plans

EVANSVILLE - The future of the downtown Evansville Executive Inn site will be discussed Wednesday morning at an Evansville Redevelopment Commission meeting. Last month, the City of Evansville took back ownership of the Executive Inn after Browning Investments said renovating the property was becoming too costly.
